Carolyn Chambers
Carolyn is an associate at Gelman & Associates, a boutique family law firm. She holds a B.Comm. (Marketing) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, and completed the National Program (LL.L. (Civil Law) and LL.B. (Common Law)) at the University of Ottawa. She is currently pursuing her LL.M. in Family Law at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.
Carolyn’s practice includes many aspects of family law, including divorce, custody and access issues, support claims, child protection cases and adoption.
While in law school, Carolyn was the AEECLSS (L’Association des Etudiants et Etudiantes en Common Law Student Society) National Program Academic Representative. She has had some experience working in legal clinics, large national firms, in-house and in notarial law firms. She was also the President of the Civil Law section bookstore.
In 2010, Carolyn was a co-Chair of the FACL Conference Planning Committee, as well as a co-Chair of the Students Committee.
