Omatsu Lunch on December 1, 2011!

Criminal Law: Employment Opportunity

NEW: FACL Bridge the Gap Program Needs YOU!
FACL in conjunction with the Law Foundation of Ontario has started the Bridge
the Gap program.
Bridge the Gap is a community initiative whose goal is to enhance access to
justice by providing educational materials on legal topics of interest to Asian
Canadians and new Asian immigrants facing language barriers in Canada.
Bridge the Gap hopes to address these issues and “bridge this gap” by creating
educational video modules, to be delivered in Chinese, Vietnamese, Punjabi,
Filipino (Tagalog) and Korean, that will provide a basic overview of, and
introduction on how to access, legal resources in the area of human rights,

FACL Omatsu Scholarship Established
FACL has proudly established the Omatsu FACL Scholarship. One
award in the amount of $1,000 or two awards of $500 will be awarded in 2012 to a
law student/students who demonstrate leadership and community involvement,
vision, academic ability, and financial need.
