NEW: FACL Bridge the Gap Program Needs YOU!
FACL in conjunction with the Law Foundation of Ontario has started the Bridge
the Gap program.
Bridge the Gap is a community initiative whose goal is to enhance access to
justice by providing educational materials on legal topics of interest to Asian
Canadians and new Asian immigrants facing language barriers in Canada.
Bridge the Gap hopes to address these issues and “bridge this gap” by creating
educational video modules, to be delivered in Chinese, Vietnamese, Punjabi,
Filipino (Tagalog) and Korean, that will provide a basic overview of, and
introduction on how to access, legal resources in the area of human rights,
youth criminal justice and immigration. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! Email Jason Tam at jtamlaw@gmail.com, and see
flyer for more info.
