Teresa is a civil and commercial litigator having represented individuals, private and public corporations, insurance companies, and governmental organizations at the Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and administrative tribunals. She represents clients in complex litigation matters and is experienced in cross-border disputes and defending fraud allegations.

Teresa is legal counsel to an international professional certification organization. She advises management and board of directors on corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, and commercial agreements. She was instrumental in procuring their trade-marks and certification mark registrations, establishing their international affiliations, and monetizing their intellectual property assets.

Teresa has industry experience in software development and information technology having spent the early part of her career at IBM, Nortel and Delrina, and a chartered bank.

Teresa contributes to her profession as an author of papers and book chapters. She has presented to professional and trade associations on litigation and intellectual property law. Through her professional and community service work, Teresa has made contacts at all levels of government.
